About taking care of Chocobo
Once you get Airship Highwind, you get able to capture and nurture Chocobo.
When you go to Chocobo Farm, you can borrow Chocobo Stable for 10000Gil.
You can get 6 Chocobo Stables at the most.
If you can capture male and female Chocobo, you can let them have a baby.
Some kinds of Chocobo
There are 5 kinds of Chocobo, Normal Chocobo, Mountain Chocobo, River Chocobo, Mountain & River Chocobo and Ocean Chocobo in FF7.
In these kinds of Chocobo, Mountain Chocobo, Mountain ＆ River Chocobo, and Ocean Chocobo are called Special Chocobo, which are given birth depends on nuts for feeding and
the evaluation of their parents when they are on the coupling.

How to catch Chocobo
After you borrow Chocobo Stable in Chocobo farm, set Materia of 
Chocobo Lure and have a battle where you can see Chocobo's footprints in the field.
Enemies show up with Chocobo in a battle.
Although you can capture Chocobo if you defeat the enemies other than Chocobo, you need to prevent Chocobo from running away by giving it Greens within a fixed time.

Where to encounter Chocobo and the evaluation
You can recognize how the evaluation is by the enemies which show up with Chocobo.
You need high-level Chocobo Lure in order to encounter high evaluation Chocobo.
You should make Materia master in order to encounter A evaluation Chocobo.

Adjustment of male and female Chocobo
You need male and female Chocobo to get baby from them.
Chocobo's gender is decided when you move them to Chocobo Stable from Farm.
When you catch Chocobo, you should save in the outside of Chocobo farm and ask Choco Billy to move Chocobo away.
You could reset and adjust their gender again if you failed on adjustment.
Making Ocean Chocobo
First of all, you need to make Mountain Chocobo and River Chocobo by letting Chocobo parents who have evaluation C or B give a birth.
Next, you need to make Mountain-and-River Chocobo by letting Mountain Chocobo and River Chocobo which you just made.
Finally, you can get Ocean Chocobo by Mountain-and-River Chocobo and another Chocobo which has evaluation A.
When you let them get Mountain Chocobo and River Chocobo, you need Carob Nut, which you can get it by stealing from Vlakorados, which shows up in the southern grasslands of Icicle Area.
when you get Ocean Chocobo, you need Zeio Nut, which you can steal from Goblin which shows up in Goblin Island.
The way of making it easy to get Special Chocobo
If you want to raise the likelihood to get Special Chocobo, you need to raise your rank by winning in Chocobo Race Of Gold Saucer.
If you give Chocobo Sylkis Greens, which you can buy from Chocobo Sage, you can raise your rank until it will be rank A.
If you want to get Mountain Chocobo or River Chocobo, Chocobo parents should be rank A and be a couple.
If you want to get Ocean Chocobo, Chocobo parents should be rank S and be a couple.
